Monsoon session: Home Minister apologies to Jaya

Second day of monsoon session of Parliament set in its record one more apology from the top politician; Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde was another to take his comment back in the house as just a day before BJP leader L K Advani appologies for his comment on UPA-2.

Shinde was replying to a short duration debate on Assam violence and SP nominated MP Jaya Bachchan, an actress, expressed unhappiness saying the minister was not responding to specific queries raised by members.

Shinde immediately took a dig at Jaya saying, "Listen carefully madam, this (Assam) isn't a filmy issue."

Jaya took a serious objection to the comment followed By BJP leader Arun jaitley.

Jaitley while supporting her said that she is distinguished in her own field and didn't deserve the 'taunt' from the minister.

The minister later apologised for his statement.
