IMD forecast rains in Delhi in next 24 hours

The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecasted that the Northern states of the country including Delhi and adjoining areas are likely to receive light rains in the next 24 hours.

The IMD Director R.C Vasishtha said that the monsoon will gain pace in the next two to three days as conditions are favorable.

Earlier the Meteorological Department had announced that Monsoon rain might come in New Delhi on June 29 last but it was missed as the wind conditions over Uttar Pradesh have delayed monsoon advancement.
