After RSS, BJP hits Nitish on his remarks

Before the 2014 Loksabha elections it is easily assuming that National Democratic Alliance (NDA) is going in a fix to decide Prime Ministerial candidate.   After the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh hit back at Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar for his comment against Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra modi, the BJP has also came out in support of Modi.

Hitting out at Nitish Kumar, BJP leader Balbir Punj said, “No one has the right to give a fatwa on who is secular. BJP has not outsourced this sort of judgment to anyone outside the party.”
He also said that Modi was no different from L K Advani or Atal Bihari Vajpayee as far as secularism is concerned.

Nitish Kumar who is a part of main opposition in centre creates chaos in political arena by saying that he can only continue in the NDA if BJP will not declare Modi as their candidate for 2014 general election.

Earlier, Mohan Bhagwat, the chief of the right-wing RSS, questioned why Kumar had raised the issue now and said it seemed to be a ploy to retain his vote bank in the state.
