Two persons including one guard injured in a shootout during a robbery attempt outside Great India Place mall here today.
A guard and an auto driver were injured when four persons opened fire while trying to rob a woman outside Gate number four of the mall situated in Sector 18 here, Police informed.
While a group of auto drivers present at the scene managed to nab two of the miscreants, two others escaped.
The injured were rushed to a local hospital, police said, adding that a hunt has been launched for the absconding accused.
