Saina knocks out in semi-final


India’s first and only badminton player who entered semi-final in Olympics, Saina Nehwal has knocked out in semis by Chinese world no.1 player Yihan Wang in a straight set of 21-13, 21-13.

The match lasted 42 min, the longest rally was 34 strokes.

Saina will now play for the bronze medal tomorrow against loser of the second semi-final between Xin Wang and Xuerui Li of China.
