Air India Plane makes emergency landing in Pakistan


An Air India aircraft flying from Abu Dhabi, capital of United Arab Emirates to Delhi with 122 passengers on board, made a precautionary landing at  Nawabshah airport in southern Sindh in Pakistan this morning due to a technical fault.

The captain of the aircraft had contacted Pakistani authorities and sought permission for an emergency landing after detecting the problem with the hydraulic system.

Air India rushed an aircraft with technical team from Delhi to bring back the passengers of the Aircraft.

An Air India spokesperson told that the captain of the Airbus aircraft contacted Pakistani authorities and sought permission for landing after detecting the problem with the hydraulic system. The plane landed at Nawabshah airport in southern Sindh province at 3.37 am.
